Blacksburg Open Plan Kitchen
For this project, our clients wanted to open up their space so we removed the walls that surrounded the stairs to the basement. We also added pendant lighting and under-cabinet lights to add more light to the kitchen.
Jacque loves to cook, so a well-designed, easy-to-use kitchen was a must. To free up the counter space, we installed an under the counter microwave that pulls out like a drawer. We also installed a built-in wine rack so they could easily access the perfect bottle to pair with a delicious homemade dinner.
We installed hand-scraped distressed maple flooring in the kitchen and living room, added new trim, and stained the steps that led to the basement to tie everything together.
As you can see from the before and after shots, the space was totally transformed and updated. If you’d like to find out how Looking Up Construction can improve your home, give us a call today!
